The Books
(pair each book either with a flannelboard activity OR have books that have tactile touching built into the book)
Touch and feel board books or popup/interactive board books work great
Dogs colorful day by Emma Dodd(a spot for each color for children to put on "dog" on the flannelboard)
Froggy gets dressed by Jonathan London (all of froggy's clothes for the kids to "dress" froggy as you read the story)
The very hungry caterpillar by Eric Carle(fruit either plastic or flannel for the children to use as you read the story)
Duck on a bike by David Shannon (cut outs of the different animals or puppets for the children to use as you read the story)

The Activities
Rice in large containers
Rice in large containers with small toys buried in the rice
Low "balance beam" placed on the floor for kids to walk on
stepping "stones" made with different textures (can purchase rubber or plastic versions)for kids to walk across
water tables or sand/grain tables for kids to play with using scoops and shovels
"Surprise box" (filled with sensory toys)
includes such things as balls that light up when squeezed or bounced
balls with different textures to them
stress relief balls
silly putty
putty that makes noise when you use it
batons that make noise, light up, or have water & sparkles inside
bubbles
spinning globes that light up and change colors when pushed
plastic slinkys
wooden puzzles
toys that can be manipulated, moved, or have different tactile feels to them.
