Mittens Craft:

Take a mitten template and print two for each child on cardstock. hole punch  and run string through the mittens. Have each child color their mittens.

Alternate mittens activity

Make mitten pairs out of different colors with felt. Pass mittens out to the children. Have children bring one mitten up to the flannel board and match the colored pairs. OR put different shapes on the mittens and have the kids match them by the shapes.
