Craft:

Salad Bar

Dark and spring green paper cut into squares and crumpled up to look like lettuce

Orange paper shredded in a paper shredder to look like carrots

Yellow, red, or orange paper cut into little squares for peppers

Red paper cut into rounds for tomatoes (or make a template and photocopy onto red paper)

Plastic bins, bowls, and salad tongs

Give children small paper plates, set the containers down on the floor, and let them load up their "salads".

Have sandwich bags available to put the salad plates in afterwards to take home.
