Ideas:

Share different Christmas or Hanukkah traditions from around the world (kids leaving their shoes out at night, stockings, playing with dreidels, etc.) Ask the children what they do for Christmas or Hanukkah or other celebrations.

Craft:

Cut out felt or fleece in the shape of a stocking and have the children decorate with craft glue, glittery shapes, stickers, pompoms, yarn, etc. If you are really ambitious, you can make two of each stocking and glue it together so it is a real Christmas or holiday stocking the child can take home and hang up. If you have a permanent marker you can write the child's name across the top of the stocking.
